Gaeltalk: Irish Lessons at The Dead Rabbit
Overview
At The Dead Rabbit — the world’s most awarded bar — Vivienne hosted the first-ever Irish language class series of its kind. This session served as an introduction to the Irish language, but rather than focusing on grammar or spelling, the emphasis was on real life and practical use. We explored basic conversation, everyday scenarios, and cultural insights that brought Gaeilge to life.
For beginners, the class was a supportive and collaborative space where everyone was encouraged to speak up and ask questions.
As we discussed, the most defining parts of any culture live within its language, and Gaeilge is no exception. Today, it’s growing again, stronger than it’s been in years.
"Our mission is to authentically share our passion for Irish Pubs and Ireland by delivering an unparalleled hospitality experience while challenging paddywhackery representations of Irish culture." - The Dead Rabbit
Past Projects - Liason
